I will transcribe the manga stories and the anime episodes from the subtitles. I'll then combine them into a final script, perhaps add in some extra scenes, and then Americanize anything that needs to be. I'll try to keep the Americanizations as minimal as possible.
I will create scripts for each character and send them to the voice actors.
The voice actors will record their lines onto their hard drives, saving each scene as a separate WAV file. If you're a voice actor, please leave short pauses between each group of lines to give me some room for editing. Please record your WAV files at 44100 hertz, 16-bit, stereo. This is "CD Quality".
The voice actors will encode their WAV files to MP3 format at 44100 hertz, 16-bit, stereo, 128 kbit. I will provide the MP3 encoder. The voice actors will upload the files to the project's mailing list.
I will note any corrections that need to be made, and the voice actors will re-record lines as needed.
I will decode the MP3s to WAV files and edit together each scene as a separate file.
I will mix in the background music with the WAV files and save them as new WAV files.
These WAV files will be used to make CDs.
That's the process that I see us using in this project.
As for the music, I'll be using the Japanese anime background music, the PGSM background music, the DiC dub music (available on "Sailor Moon: The Full Moon Collection"), and some music from other anime and movies. There will be 2 versions of each CD - one with the background music and one without. There is some dub music that I like that's not on the album. I'm looking for a musician that can record a pretty accurate recreation of the dub music. If you're interested, please e-mail me.
